Friday Foto Friends

I haven't shared many frozen moments last weeks. I am struggling for one and a half week with shingles. It is painful and very uncomfortable. I have little energy now, headache and a lot of pain in the inflamed skin and nerves.

Gordelroos

I think I've got shingles because of my low resistance. I'm recovering from a eating disorder. I'm learning to eat (more) again. Two months ago I chose to ask for help. A specialized dietician and a psychologist are helping me now a bit.

But still I love to share some photos

Wij allemaal toch?

1. I love adding a little magic to my dark livingroom in autumn and winter. So I was very suprised when my daughter came home out school and gave me this nice light chain.

Lampjessnoer

2. I won a giveaway via Lieneke's blog. A Dutch book The booklet is focusing on the fact that you are loved. It is so important to know that you are fully accepted. The starting point of the author is the love of God in Jesus Christ. I'll start reading today!

Boek gewonnen

3. My husband is very busy the last weeks. He is a construction engineer. In the Netherlands a parking garage collapsed, caused by a construction error. You can read here more: LINK Now many buildings in our country must be checked very carefully! Yesterday my husband went to a seminar in Heerlen. This theme was also discussed. When he got home he gave me this mug from Heerlen. There are several buildings on the mug. I love it.

Mijn man had een studiedag in Heerlen.

4. It is time to knit. I enjoy the beautiful colors of  my Louisa Harding yarn. I love it so much. But I'm slow when it comes to figuring out a knitting pattern. I love writing and reading more than knitting you know. Still, I like to knit a bit in the dark season.

Breien!
Gave kleuren hรจ?

How was your week?
Was er deze week iets leuks?

Welcome to share your blog

    Fijn weekend, Manon

  9. I love the lamp your daughter gave you. It will help to create the Hygge which I've just learned about over the last year. I am sorry for your health problems but I am happy to hear you are getting some help with it all. Your husband bought you a lovely mug to enjoy your daily hot drink while you are knitting something lovely.
